In this seminar for serving law-enforcement professionals, Kinetic Fighting founder Paul Cale will address some of the key technical and tactical gaps in current OST curriculums.

A former 2nd Commando Regiment and Tactical Assault Group-East team leader, SGT (Ret.) Paul Cale developed the world-leading Australian Army Combatives Program (ACP). Used by the Australian Army and Special Forces, ACP is based on Cale’s Kinetic Fighting–Integrated Combat model. He has applied that same model to bespoke training programs for the SA Police Special Tasks and Rescue (STAR) Force, ADF Military Police, Corrections NSW Special Operations Group and Special Forces CPP teams, to name a few.

This training in essential, real-world operational skills is designed to enhance your capability and safety on the job — as well as the safety of your colleagues, and the public. Over four hours, Paul will cover the following in detail:

  • Entry & Force Delivery – Timing, weight, momentum, targeting, etc.
  • Disengagement & Weapon Retention – Tactical considerations and equipment use
  • Takedowns – Effective within use-of-force considerations and meeting tactical aims
  • Ground Control – Disengagement, team co-ordination and protection of weapons/equipment
  • Combat Mindset – Balanced with use-of-force and ‘public perception’ considerations

Note: This seminar is restricted to serving police, PSOs and Corrections officers, therefore:

  1. Only ticket-holders who provide proof of purchase and occupation may be eligible to attend (please book your ticket using your ‘.gov’ email address)
  2. A signed waiver/registration form must be submitted prior to training (this will be sent to ticket-holders a week before the event)
  3. Eligibility will ultimately be decided at the discretion of Kinetic Fighting Pty Ltd (KEF) management and the host venue.
