SUMMARY:Personal Combatives: Level 1-Alpha/Bravo – Adelaide
DESCRIPTION:Learn Kinetic Fighting\, the close-combat method used by Australian and U.S. Special Forces\nA veteran of multiple combat tours with the 2nd Commando Regiment\, former elite soldier Paul Cale literally rewrote the book on Special Forces Close-Quarter Fighting (CQF). Paul then created Infantry Integrated Combat (ICC)\, which later became the foundation for the Australian Army Combatives Program (ACP) — now the official close-combat training system for Australia’s general Army. \nKinetic Fighting is the culmination of all Paul’s work in combatives\, and the name used to describe the method underpinning his military programs. \nWhether you want to learn mental strategies and tactical applications to make your existing martial arts skills more effective\, or you want to take your first steps toward a KEF–IC black belt\, this course is for you. KEF–IC (Kinetic Fighting–Integrated Combat) is a new program within the Australian Army that combines tactical combative skills with free sparring/rolling and the competitive elements of the Integrated Combat Clubs\, which are located at Army barracks Australia-wide. \nAs an extension of the Australian Army Combatives program\, KEF–IC provides the training principles and core syllabus required to give soldiers a survival skill set\, and mindset to match. Every element of KEF–IC is focused toward real combat and it is now being taught to non-military personnel for the first time. \nOn this course Paul will teach you battle-proven principles and survival tactics that are:\n\nAdaptable to any martial art or professional operational procedure\nSuitable for civilians & front-line operators\, from beginners to professionals\nBacked by 25+ years of career military experience & 30+ years in martial arts\n\n\nDay 1 – Level 1-Alpha:\nFour hours of training in essential self-protection skills with Paul Cale\, creator of the Australian Army Combatives Program (ACP). \nIn this module you will cover the key aspects of surviving a violent confrontation: mindset\, tactics\, legal and moral considerations\, and functional\, high-percentage techniques. You will also discover how KEF–IC’s battlefield origins inform everything that you learn. \nPrerequisites: None – complete beginners welcome \nTime: Saturday 9th November 1:00pm–5:00pm \n  \nDay 2 – Level 1-Bravo:\nBuild on the previous day’s training with four hours of skill integration\, ACP/KEF–IC reflex training and drills to help you develop your Level 1 skills into an effective arsenal. \nIn this module you will be introduced to principles of adaptation and shown how free play and sparring/rolling can enhance tactical capability. Learn grappling skills applicable to the battlefield\, and competitive drills where the objectives support tactical aims and develop your combative skill sets. \nPrerequisites: KEF–IC Level 1-Alpha \nTime: Sunday 10th November 1:00pm–5:00pm \nDo the first module or both (discounts apply). \n  \nBOOK EARLY & SAVE – Early-bird discounts apply until 6 October  \nBRING A FRIEND & SAVE – Buy two tickets or organise a group for even bigger savings  \n* If you have previously completed any Kinetic Fighting module and would like to do a refresher\, contact info@kefgroup.com for special pricing. \n
